Roquetas de Mar welcomes the World U7–U17 Championships
FIDE and the Spanish Chess Federation, together with the Andalusian Chess Federation, invite all FIDE national federations to Roquetas de Mar from 13 to 21 October 2026.
The International Chess Federation FIDE and the Spanish Chess Federation, together with the Andalusian Chess Federation, jointly invite all FIDE national federations to participate in the World Under-7 to Under-17 Chess Championships 2026.
The event takes place from 13 October (arrival day) to 21 October 2026 (departure day) at the Evenia Zoraida resort in Roquetas de Mar, on the Mediterranean coast of Almería. Twelve tournaments — Open and Girls, from Under 7 to Under 17 — will be played over eleven rounds.
